Mantranima Anounces New Album

Mantranima has unveiled the concept of their new album.

Titled Trees & Shadows, the LP will feature 9 tracks composed during their stay on an island off the Pacific Coast of Canada.

A turn from their debut album, Trees & Shadows explores a new sound for the duo comprised of electric guitar and English & Catalan lyrics supported by shamanic undertones.

It’s a new album, with a new sound, for the new us.

The album will be released in December 2019, with a European and North American tour planned for early 2020. To help fund the project, the duo is running a crowdfunding campaign.

The album reflects the band’s “re-wilding” and reconnection with their selves—with nature, and its cycles.

We believe that the world needs more voices that remind us of who we are, and that bring out the humanity that connects us to each other. It feels like a sacred album for these disconnected times.
